S: yoyoyoyoyo. my name's Seamus. it rhymes w anus. I just turned 18 a couple days ago.
For the people who don't know much about where you live can you please describe it for them?
S: Rural ass England. there's the dope-ish side of the whole thing like with the badgers & owls & empty forests but it's basically like the English version of south USA in terms of dumb ass racist farmers lolol.
What is the significance behind the name Iglooghost? Do you live inside an igloo? Are you a ghost?
S: cos I'm a cold ass motherfucker
Have there been times when people don't take you serious due to your age?
S: ye man. fuck em. who cares about my physical form of a human child
How do your parents feel about your career in music?
S: lmao they're pretty down with it. I don't exactly come from a long line of mega-serious musicians. Like my mum plays a flute sometimes and my dad plays naked in a punk band and sings about dog shit & getting stoned
What is Error Broadcast?
S: Error Broadcast is a dope ass label from Europe. They don't give a shit about much else than putting out music they love. They're mad sincere & altruistic <3
How did you happen to join them? Did you approach them or was it the other way around?
S: basically this geezer called memotone passed a lil demo of my own old shit to soosh who passed it to the label. I used to listen to soosh on moody autumnal walks home from school back in like 2011 so that was fucking surreal that he hooked my whole shit up
Are you currently working on another project?
S: yeah man. not actually for error b tho. slugabed's got this ickle label called ACTIVIA BENZ. accy b. their visual aesthetic is infinitely dope to me and we're putting out a rap album in a rlly rlly rlly weird ass way in the summer. more on that later hohohohohoho
How did your relationship with milo begin and how was it decided that you will be producing his debut album?
S: threw him a beat on a coin flip & he liked the beat and then we crafted a giant ass album and now it's done wowowow
What goes through your head when making a song?
S: "this is fucking shit"
Which genres have inspired you the most?
S: basically all the songs in pokemon gold//silver for the gameboy color
Are you amazed by the amount of great feedback you have received on Treetunnels?
S: yo idk I can only rlly listen to 5 joints off that tape. but yeah man gilles peterson copped it wtf. I have his money in my pockets.
What was the process like when creating Treetunnels?
S: oh a lot of the time I saw a cool piece of graphic design & had it above my computer n I tried to see if the music fit the artwork. like i'd try and remake it in music form like a dumb idiot. It was a super nervous ass neurotic fast process in all cus i was tryna finish all my final exam subject things. Juggling those 2 things 50//50 let a lot of it bleed into each other actually. I got a lot of fuckin weird coursework now.
Do you have a favorite song you worked on?
S: man it's usually the last thing i made. I fuck w this track I've been working on. It's called GUTTEDDDD right now. gutted means sad or humiliated down in England. It's like 'oh what u didnt sleep w her??? gutted!!!!!'
Are there any tips you would like to say to upcoming producers?
S: man.... fuck trap drums. I know the 808 shit is super timeless and easy to slot into any composition but just fuck around w some other stuff. Oh also if you're making some shit n you're like "hmmmmm I like it but idk if it sounds like music or an established genre" you've probably actually cracked something super original. that shit is like catching a shiny Pokemon so don't pussy out & start the song again, keep that shit.
Besides music what does your life revolve around?
S: I'm always tryna make something or I feel like shit. I just finished school so it's mad hard to not creatively exhaust myself cus I try and constantly work. I dunno I love making weird cartoony outfits & interior design without sounding like a dickhead lmfao
Can you explain a common day in the life of Iglooghost?
S: either me and my friends try & find some weird places to hang out & drink hard liquor or I'll be tryna make a giant song. All my new shit is super long & fast in tempo and its fucking exhausting to make hahahahaha ITS COOL THO

S: I dunno man I got some good shit in the works. also 1 time I wrote a comprehensive guide to English brickwork & if you're not fuckin w that then idk what the fuck you want mate <3
